How do you avoid getting angry at someone when they don’t meet your expectations?

We should all try to practice equanimity. Equanimity means compassion without attachment. If we love our family without any expectations, we will not have expectations and will not get angry. We need to learn to accept what is rather than thinking about what it could be. They say love your kids for who they are and not what you want them to be.

Do you create bad Karma by raising animals to eventually kill?

Yes. Since one has an intention to kill the animal while raising them, they do suffer the consequences of the negative Karma attached to killing that animal. On the other hand, if you are raising animals and not sending them to butchers, you don’t suffer the consequences of killing since you are not actually killing those animals. However, if you are taking milk from those animals, you could suffer the consequences of stilling since you don’t have permission from the animal to get their milk.

This is just an evolutionary process and humans used to kill just to survive.

True. But, we have long passed the days of hunter-gatherers. 100,000 years ago, we used to kill on a daily basis is different. We have evolved since then and we don’t need to kill to survive anymore. We can make better choices. For example, we can be vegetarians and take care of our food needs. In the example of mosquito, we can avoid killing it and still be safe from a mosquito bite. We have no need to kill it with a vengeance.
